Premium Private Transfers
Our Premium Private Transfers are operated in one of our fleet of 16 Volkswagen Caravelles, all with 4 wheel drive and winter tyres. Your transfer will be suited to your times and you will have exclusive use of the vehicle just for you and your group with all of our onboard extras. Simply complete the Private Transfer Quote opposite to obtain a price and instant confirmation or if availability needs to be confirmed. For confirmation of availability is needed we will respond within 24 hours but usually within the hour.
Luxe Private Transfers
Our Luxe Private Transfers are carried out in one of our Tesla Model X or Mercedes V Class vehicles. With individual iPads with films and Netflix, noise cancelling headphones and wifi, you’re all set for a relaxing and supremely comfortable journey. Our all electric Tesla Model X vehicles seat up to 4 passengers, with heated and reclining seats, alongside the experience of travelling in an all electric vehicle to the Alps. Our Mercedes V Class comes with completely individual seats that are heated and ventilated, along with a table to work on or share with friends and family. Both types of vehicle are all wheel drive and are equipped with winter tyres.
Our shared transfers provide you with a door-to-door service with the same standard of service as a private transfer in one of our VW Caravelles but at individual prices, and if we advertise a shared transfer, it will not be cancelled and the price will not change if not enough people book onto the transfer. Please see here to see a list of our available shared transfers. If your dates / times are not shown in the shared transfers list, please feel free to still get in touch as availability changes daily.
Based on our own experience, if you’re looking to travel on a transfer cheaply, take a look at the shared transfers available and book your flights around those times. Travelling mid-week is also cheaper if you have that flexibility. If travelling on a weekend, especially Saturday, book flights that land and depart in the morning or late in the evening. During the peak holidays (Christmas, New Year, English half term, French half term, Easter) transfer times can be substantially longer than normal due to the volume of traffic. Whilst our drivers will do their best, sometimes a longer journey is unavoidable with traffic and weather conditions.
Whilst journey times for private and shared transfers will be similar, please remember that it may take a little longer travelling to and from the airport as others need to be collected / dropped off en route so please do allow for extra time in your schedule when travelling on a shared transfer. As a general rule, depending on the resort journey times to and from the airport are approximately:
- Chambery – from 1.5 to 2.5 hours
- Geneva – from 2.5 to 3.5 hours
- Grenoble – from 2.5 to 3.5 hours
- Lyon – from 2.5 to 3.5 hours
It is important to note that, due to the nature of the mountains and the amount of traffic that can sometimes be seen on the limited routes into resorts, journey times do change so always err on the side of caution and allow extra time.
Finally, should you be severely delayed, we may have to leave without you. Whilst we will do everything we can to ensure that this does not happen or make alternative arrangements, sometimes we may need to. For more information on delays and cancellations to flights or to our service, please refer to our terms and conditions and/or our FAQ page.
